Heat-resistant antifriction graphites of ATG, AG-2500 PM

Heat resistant antifriction material of ATG brand is regarded with enhanced requirements – compressions made of this material are used in the major shaft seals of gas turbines and aircraft engines. During new ATG development parameter control was introduced which characterizes oxidation resistance of material under high temperature, that is weight loss during 50 hours under 650°С in normalized air flow and strength characteristics correspondingly after it.Now technical-operational characteristics of this material give possibility to say that it is the best in the former Soviet Union. Many enterprises of military industry became convinced in it. 

Thus, for more than eight years LEG Ltd. company supplies workpieces made of mentioned above material to one of the leader of domestic aircraft engine constructing that is PF RPCG Zorya»-«Mashproekt. During this period more than 1000 workpieces of different type-sizes with a maximum diameter to 280mm were supplied to the enterprise. Every workpiece has the quality certificate. During this time only one workpiece didn’t pass the acceptance test at Nikolaev enterprise. In 20 days it was replaced with the adaptable one. 

Besides other types of industry were interested in heat-resistant antifriction graphite, that’s why after some time the organization has developed ATG analogue – heat-resistant graphite AG-2500 PM. In general it is used as split-shelf bearings, which function under temperatures not higher than 650 °С, like ATG. Utilization of other antifriction graphites under such temperatures is impossible, because they oxidize under 450°С. 

Our enterprise produces workpieces and end products made of them, which are approved with quality certificates.
