Сurrent collector heads

Company LEG Ltd. offers modernized current collector heads GT-14B, 5RV.

These collector heads are designed for a wedge-shaped insert (VKT-6) 102 mm long (double wedge insert), which is the most common in European countries and is used, among other things, in new trolleybuses manufactured by Skoda, Solaris Trollino, etc.

The use of the modernized collector head with a shunt provides: reduction of electric current losses during transmission from the contact network to the current collector head; reduction of overheating at the point of contact of the wire with the insert; reduced wear of the insert; increase in the service life of the collector head; easier passage of special parts of the contact network; safe change of contact insert (ensuring labor protection requirements); reducing the number of trolleybus boom descents from the contact network.
